Personal Planning

Life is full of risk. From the moment we are capable of clear thought, we are faced with choices and the implicit risks that each choice holds. (e.g. do I obey my parents? , do I cycle to work?, do I want to marry him?). Very often the choices we make are dependent upon our assessment of the risk involved.

Personal financial planning is no different when it comes to risk assessment and the implications which follow from taking the risk.

Consider the man who spends (willingly) his income every month on enjoyment and fun. He may enjoy the moments that this lifestyle creates, but consider the risks he is facing.

  • What happens if he is too sick to earn a living?
  • How will he live in retirement?
  • How will his dependants cope financially if he dies?

It may be that the answers to these questions and many more are considered and ignored. Financial planning involves raising these issues, considering options and making decisions based on informed choices.

Here at Quest, we will seek to highlight the various financial planning areas about which clients need to be aware.

By clicking on any of the links on the left you can consider the various aspects of financial planning. If any of them cause concern or interest, call us on 01324 832715 or email us.
